❤️ My mother described me as a slow learner, average in math but exceptionally hard-working. She was right about the hard work. I have built a career not by chasing trends, but by focusing on fundamental human skills: creativity, storytelling, and communication.
⭐️ For twenty years, I have been both a student and teacher of geography. While my expertise focuses on human geography, I maintain a deep appreciation for the physical world. My passion lies in perspectives in geography, geographical thought, political organisation of space, urban and population studies, regional planning, and India’s geography. I am particularly proud of my students who have successfully joined the civil services.
⭐️ At the CEC, SPPU, I channelled this expertise into creating accessible coaching programmes for civil services aspirants from marginalised communities. In the last 12 years, I have mentored and counseled countless students to join UPSC/MPSC Civil Services, MPSC Rajyaseva, Forest Services, Bank, NABARD, RBI, and other allied services.
⭐️ As a tourism and geopolitics researcher, I analyse how geopolitical tensions and alliances shape tourist flows. I also study how disasters disrupt tourism and how a region’s political geography shapes tourist destinations. I also explore how a nation’s political culture influences its tourism policies and global image.
⭐️ Post-pandemic, I immersed myself in e-learning technology, focusing on video production, editing, and LMS management. I’m thoughtfully building my YouTube presence by prioritising value over quantity.
✨️ My goal remains constant: to create learning that is thoughtful, inclusive, and profoundly human.
